It is a FLAT disc or raised center shape?

This is a flat disc, we use it on the grinder, and the effect is good.

Does the disc fit the dcg412 angle grinder?

I'm not sure. It is recommended that you compare the specifications of the disk outer diameter and center hole diameter with the disk used on the dcg412.

Is it safe?

This is a tool. Like all tools, if used properly, it is safe, except for occasional accidents. Be careful and always use protective devices!

How are they for cutting 14ga steel

I cut off welds and 3/8 inch thick steel plates with no problem. They hold up very well as long as you do not bend them.
